Blueberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 ready made pastry pie crusts
5 c. blueberries
1 1/4 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon or nutmeg
dash of salt
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

In large bowl combine blueberries, sugar, flour, lemon rind, cinnamon and salt.
Turn mixture into pastry shell.
Sprinkle berries with lemon juice and dot with butter cut in small pieces. Invert pie shell on top of pie; seal edges and flute.
Cut a few vents for steam.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
Serve warm or cool.
A little vanilla ice cream on top makes a very delicious addition.
Makes 2 pies.
