Kathy'S Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 8 tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. fresh basil, chopped (or 1/2 tsp. dried)
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin (optional)
    2 to 3 large cloves garlic, minced
    1 to 2 jalapeno peppers, minced (to taste)
Preparation
    Combine all
    of the above and blend well.
    Cover and chill for several hours or over night. A food processor works very well for all of the chopping.
    Wear plastic gloves for the jalapenos and don't touch your eyes.
    Serve with tortilla chips.
