Easy Beef Tips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean round steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Brown meat in margarine at medium heat.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 2 hours.
    Stir occasionally.
    Add more water, 1/2 cup at a time, if too much liquid boils away.
    Serve over potatoes, rice or noodles.
    Serves 4 to 6.
