Homemade Oyster Stew With Eggplant - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small eggplant
    1 small onion
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1 qt. sweet milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Peel eggplant and cut into small pieces the size of peanuts. Put into a small boiler of water.
    Cut onion into small pieces and add to boiler.
    Boil for about 15 to 20 minutes, drain water.
    Add the quart of sweet milk to onion and eggplant.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Add butter or margarine.
    Heat mixture, but do not allow to boil.
    Eat with crackers.
