Bojangle'S Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. confectioners sugar
    1/2 c. solid shortening
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Cut in the shortening.
    Add buttermilk. Turn on floured surface and knead dough to about 1/2-inch thick. Dust with flour.
    Cut biscuits.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 minutes or until golden.
    Brush with butter.
