Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. cooked chicken
1 small jar pimento
8 oz. sliced water chestnuts
1/2 c. mayonnaise
4 1/2 oz. sliced mushrooms
1 c. cream of mushroom soup
3/4 c. sour cream
1 pkg. sliced almonds
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1 c. grated cheese (sharp Cheddar)
1 pkg. crescent dinner rolls
Preparation

Bake whole chicken.
Take all meat off and put in large pot. Mix in all other ingredients (except cheese and dinner rolls). Heat until bubbly.
Pour into ungreased casserole dish.
Top with grated cheese and cover with crescent rolls.
(Unroll dinner rolls and lay flat on top.)
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes (or until brown).
