Fettucine Alfredo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. fettucine (flat narrow noodles)
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1/4 lb. sweet butter
3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. whipping cream
1 egg, lightly beaten
salt and pepper
parsley for color
Preparation

Cook noodles until tender, 8 to 10 minutes in salted water with 1 tablespoon oil.
Drain.
Melt butter in chafing dish or electric skillet over medium heat.
Add cheese, parsley, cream and beaten egg gradually.
Blend until slightly thickened.
Add noodles, salt and pepper to taste.
Toss lightly until noodles are coated evenly with sauce.
Serve on hot plates and garnish with additional cheese.
