Angel Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/3 c. granulated sugar
20 cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo or Hydrox), crushed
1 c. chopped pecans
whipped cream for garnish

Preparation

In a mixing bowl with an electric mixer, beat egg whites until stiff.
Beat in salt, baking powder and sugar.
Fold in crushed cookies and pecans.
Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven 35 to 40 minutes.
