Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. chicken broth or bouillon
2/3 c. regular rice
1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 c. milk
2 c. cubed, cooked chicken or turkey
1 (4 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 c. toasted, slivered almonds
Preparation

In a saucepan, bring chicken broth and rice to a boil.
Reduce heat.
Cook, covered, for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat; let stand, covered, for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook broccoli according to package directions; drain.
