Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pork sausage
2 large sliced potatoes
1 c. thinly sliced onion
1 c. sliced carrots
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Cook sausage until no pink remains.
Grease a 2-quart baking dish with fat drained from sausage.
Layer sliced potatoes in bottom of dish.
Continue to layer onions, rice, carrots, sausage and tomatoes.
Last, mix salt, pepper and sugar.
Sprinkle over top of casserole and cover tightly.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
