Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/3 c. bananas, mashed
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar and shortening until smooth. Beat in eggs. In a separate bowl, combine salt, flour, baking powder and baking soda. Gradually add dry mix to wet mix, alternating with milk.
    Mix in bananas and then vanilla. Pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Toothpick test.
