Christmas Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 c. whipping cream, whipped
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
    1 large jar maraschino cherries, drained and halved
    2 c. seedless red grapes, halved
    1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
Preparation
    Combine eggs and sugar in small saucepan, beat well with wire whisk.
    Add
    vinegar
    and
    butter.\tCook
    over
    low heat, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened.
    Cool.
    Fold in whipped cream.
    Combine
    fruits and marshmallows.
    Fold in egg and\tcream mixture.
    Chill at least 3 hours.
    Spoon into individual dishes. Yield:
    12 servings.
