Coffee Flavored Liqueur - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. instant coffee
1 liter Vodka
3 Tbsp. vanilla extract (not imitation vanilla flavoring!)

Preparation

Combine water and sugars in saucepan.
Bring to boil and simmer 10 minutes.
Add instant coffee to sugar mixture and let cool. When cool, add vodka and vanilla.
Pour into bottles and store in cool place.
Makes about 2 quarts.
