Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. self-rising corn meal
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 small onion, chopped
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 can cream-style corn (1 c.; add more if needed)
1 c. grated cheese
chopped green pepper (as desired)

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Drop by spoon or roll in balls. Fry in hot canola oil.
