Aunt Mary'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 sticks margarine or butter
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients and set aside.
    In a large bowl cream shortening, butter and sugar.
    Add flavoring and eggs; beat well. Add milk and dry ingredients.
    Beat well.
    Pour batter into a large greased and floured tube pan.
    Place pan in cold oven (do not preheat).
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
    Let cool in pan for 30 minutes.
