Nutmeg Butterballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. blanched almonds, chopped
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add almonds and vanilla.
    Work flour in with fingers.
    Shape in the size of a quarter.
    Chill until cold.
    Bake on greased cookie sheets 15 to 20 minutes at 300\u00b0. Mix confectioners sugar and nutmeg.
    Roll cookies in mixture while still hot.
    Makes 6 dozen.
