Country Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. smoked sausage
    4 large potatoes, sliced
    3 carrots, sliced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 tsp. bacon drippings or vegetable oil
    1/2 c. celery, sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In large skillet, fry potatoes, carrots, celery and onion in bacon drippings over low heat.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    When carrots and potatoes are tender, place smoked sausage on top; cover and heat for about 12 minutes.
    Serves 4.
