Bean And Sausage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 slices bacon
1 medium onion, chopped
2 carrots, sliced
1 medium potato, cubed
1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
1/2 tsp. marjoram leaves
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. water
8 oz. thinly sliced smoked sausage
16 oz. can cut green beans, undrained
16 oz. can Great Northern beans, undrained
Preparation

Cook bacon until crisp; drain.
Crumble bacon and set aside. Saute onion.
Add carrots, potato, parsley, marjoram, pepper and water.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
Add sausage and beans (including juice).
Add bacon. Simmer 30 minutes.
