Snowball Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups Frosted Cheerios cereal
20 miniature chocolate kisses
gumdrops, chocolate-covered raisins, or candy-coated chocolate covered peanuts may also be used
1-2 Tbsp. candy sprinkles

Preparation

Heat sugar and corn syrup just to boiling in 3 quart saucepan over medium heat.
Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter until blended.
Stir in cereal, cook 5 minutes.
Lightly butter hands; shape about 1/4 cup cereal mixture into a ball around each chocolate kiss.
Immediately roll in candy sprinkles.
About 20 snacks.
