Out Of This World Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 can cherry pie filling
3/4 c. sugar
1 large can crushed pineapple (undrained)
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. red food coloring
1 (3 oz.) box cherry Jell-O
1 large pie shell or 2 (8-inch) shells
whipped topping
4 slices of banana and/or 1 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

In saucepan, combine pie filling, pineapple, cornstarch, sugar and food coloring.
Cook until thick.
Remove from the heat and add Jell-O.
Cool.
Add banana slices and pecans if desired.
Top with whipped topping.
