Dolly'S Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

46 oz. can V-8 juice (tomato soup may be substituted for a different flavor)
46 oz. water
16 oz. can tomatoes
1 large onion
1 bell pepper
1 turnip
1 head cabbage
4 carrots
3 to 4 stalks broccoli
garlic powder to taste
1/2 to 1 tsp. dry red pepper
3 to 4 stalks celery
2 to 3 chicken bouillon cubes (these may be omitted if on a low salt diet)
Preparation

Chop all vegetables.
Bring V-8 juice and water to a boil. Add other ingredients.
Reduce heat and cook for about 30 to 40 minutes to blend flavors.
Do not overcook.
Vegetables should remain firm.
