Grandma Riegel'S Fudge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten lightly
1/4 c. sour milk
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. boiling water
7/8 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
marshmallows
Preparation

Cream the butter; add sugar and egg.
Dissolve cocoa in boiling water and cool.
Add to first mixture alternately with milk and flour that has been sifted with baking powder.
Add vanilla.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
Cut marshmallows in half (or use miniatures).
Cover top of hot cake with marshmallows and return to oven for 3 minutes.
Frost with Cocoa Frosting.
