Wheat Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine, softened
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/4 c. oatmeal (not instant)
Preparation
    In large bowl cream margarine and sugars.
    Add to creamed mixture, 1 egg and beat well.
    In small bowl combine flour and oatmeal.
    Add this to creamed mixture and mix well.
    Spread dough in 9 x 12-inch baking pan (do not grease).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Remove from oven and cool completely.
    Spread topping over cooled oat mixture.
