Hotel Lafitte Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    3 c. sugar
    12 oz. Raisin Bran
    2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs (beaten)
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    5 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Add eggs, buttermilk and oil.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in mini muffin pans for 15 minutes or regular muffin pans for 20 minutes.
    Dip tops in melted butter and then in cinnamon and sugar mixture (1 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon).
    Add chopped pecans before baking, if desired. This makes 1 gallon and can be stored in a tight container in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks, bake as needed.
    Don't forget to grease and flour pans.
