Pat'S Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

9 c. white flour
5 c. brown flour
1 c. shortening, melted and cooled
1 c. sugar
4 tsp. salt
3 pkg. dry yeast
6 c. warm water
Preparation

Combine
flours.
In a large bowl, combine 4 cups flour mixture,
sugar
and
salt;
mix well.
Add 2 more cups flour. Mix thoroughly.
Gradually
add rest of flour.
Dough will be soft and sticky.
Don't knead.
Place in oiled bowl.
Oil top. Cover and
let rise 2 hours, undivided.
Punch down but don't work out yet.
Let rise another hour.
Take out, work a little bit
and shape
into
6 loaves.
Place loaves in greased loaf pans and
let rise
for
1 hour.
Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Bake 25 minutes.
Bread will be crusty and firm and sound hollow when tapped.
Butter top, cover and let cool.
