Mammaw'S Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. minced onion
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    16 slices bread
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1 Tbsp. minced parsley
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Remove crusts from bread and toast in toaster.
    Melt butter in large pan and saute onion and celery.
    Dip toast into milk and squeeze out excess.
    Crumple bread into butter mixture.
    Add remaining seasonings and mix well.
    Makes enough stuffing for a 4 pound chicken or a turkey.
