Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large yellow cake mix
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Do not grease pan.
    Put cherry filling in bottom of pan. Spread dry cake mix evenly over top of cherries.
    Slice butter over top of cake mix, then spread nuts over top of the whole mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 50 minutes or until brown.
    Serve with vanilla ice cream.
