Libby'S Linguine With Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sliced shallots
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes in olive oil, garlic and spices
    1 Tbsp. fresh basil, chopped
    1/3 c. heavy cream
    1/2 lb. cooked shrimp or lobster
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    6 oz. linguine, cooked (hot)
    1/3 c. julienned basil
Preparation
    In skillet over medium high heat, saute shallots in oil 4 minutes until soft.
    Add tomatoes and 1 tablespoon basil.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Add cream.
    Boil 2 to 3 minutes to thicken.
    When hot, toss with pasta and julienned basil.
    Makes 2 servings.
