Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 large onion, chopped
3 lb. lean tender beef, cubed
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 c. chili powder
1 Tbsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp. paprika
5 c. water
Preparation

Heat oil in a Dutch oven and saute the onion until soft.
Add the meat, garlic, chili powder and cumin.
Cook until the meat is browned.
Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
Simmer about 2 hours.
Serves 8.
