Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. cooking oil
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. jam
    1/2 c. strawberry preserves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix the sugar and oil well.
    Add the eggs, buttermilk and soda; mix.
    Add the flour; mix until well blended.
    Add the jam, preserves, cinnamon, cloves, allspice and chopped nuts (if desired).
    Bake in tube pan for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0, or until done.
