Whipped Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope Knox gelatine
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. nuts
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    1 c. grated cheese
    1/2 c. grated carrots
    1 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Soak gelatine in cold water.
    Mix lemon juice, sugar and pineapple; bring to a boil.
    Add this mixture to the gelatine and cool.
    Beat when nearly cool enough to set, then add remaining ingredients in order and mold or leave in covered dish.
    Can decorate with maraschino cherry halves.
