Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 lb. margarine
10 eggs
4 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. orange juice
1 big box raisins
2 lb. whole candied cherries
3/4 lb. candied pineapple
6 c. pecans
Preparation

Cut up candied pineapple and cherries in a large bowl. Add raisins.
Pour the orange juice over this and let sit while mixing other ingredients.
In a dish, melt your margarine. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well.
Chip nuts up real fine in a bowl.
Put flour on the chopped nuts and work in well.
Mix this in with your eggs and margarine.
Mix in flour and fruits.
Mix real good.
Put in 2 tube pans and cook at 250\u00b0 until done.
Test by toothpick.
(Grease and flour tube pans.)
This makes 2 cakes.
