Paprika Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    18 medium (6 to 8-inch) cukes
    3 3/4 c. cider vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. salt
    4 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    4 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    3/4 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Slice cucumbers and cover with boiling water; leave overnight. Prepare syrup with vinegar, sugar, salt, celery seed, turmeric and mustard seed.
    Pack cukes in jars.
    Pour syrup over cukes and seal.
    Cook in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
