Fast And Easy Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 1/4 lb. boneless chicken breasts, in 1/2-inch cubes
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 c. chopped onion
    12 oz. smoked Polish or kielbasa sausage, cut in 1/2-inch slices
    16 oz. jar picante sauce
    14 1/2 oz. can stewed tomatoes
    15 oz. can LeSueur peas, drained
    2 2/3 c. hot, cooked instant rice
Preparation
    Sprinkle lemon pepper and garlic powder over chicken cubes. Heat oil in large skillet.
    Cook chicken in oil 5 minutes or until done.
    Add onions and sausage; cook additional 5 minutes.
    Keep stirring.
    Stir in picante sauce and tomatoes.
    Reduce heat to medium; cook 12 minutes.
    Add peas; cook additional 2 or 3 minutes or until heated through.
    Serve over cooked rice.
    Makes 4 (1-cup) servings.
