Aunt Allison'S Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 ripe bananas
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. nuts (pecans or walnuts), chopped (optional)
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar; add eggs.
Mix well.
Add remaining ingredients except nuts.
Mix well.
Stir in nuts.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour in 2 greased loaf pans.
