Best - Ever Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 large pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    3 c. milk
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    3 sliced bananas
    1 medium Cool Whip
    chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix cake to box directions and bake in 13 x 9-inch pan.
    While cake is baking, mix pineapple and sugar.
    Cook until sugar is melted.
    Prick hot cake with a fork.
    Pour pineapple syrup over cake.
    Cool.
    Mix pudding and milk, then beat in cream cheese. Slice bananas and put on top of cake.
    Spread pudding over bananas. Top with Cool Whip; sprinkle with pecans.
    Refrigerate.
    Serve cold.
    Makes 15 servings.
