Pink Lozenger Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. pink lozengers
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Dissolve lozengers in milk for 24 hours.
    Mix pink lozenger mixture with flour mixture of sugar, shortening, flour and baking powder.
    Then add 4 stiffly beaten egg whites last.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
