Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, softened
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 (3.9 oz.) pkg. chocolate instant pudding mix
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy.
Gradually add sugars and pudding mix, beating well. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
Combine flour and soda. Gradually add to butter mixture, mixing well. Stir in chocolate morsels and pecans.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls (walnut size) onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on cookie sheets 3 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
(Place in an
airtight container.
Can also be frozen up to 8 months.)
Yields approximately 10 dozen.
