14-Day Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage head
    4 stalks celery
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 onion
    1 green pepper
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, onion, celery and green pepper finely.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    In a small saucepan, bring sugar, turmeric, mustard seed and vinegar to boiling point.
    Remove from heat. Pour over chopped ingredients.
