Light Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. margarine
    1 c. granulated sugar
    5 large eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. raisins (optional)
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    4 c. pecans
    1/2 oz. vanilla flavoring
    1/2 oz. lemon flavoring
    1 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy; add well beaten eggs using rotary beater.
    Blend well.
    Chop nuts and fruit into medium sized pieces and flour with 1/2 cup flour.
    Sift remaining flour and baking powder together.
    Fold into egg and margarine mixture. Add flavorings.
    Mix and then add fruit and nuts.
    Pour into greased tube pan.
    Place in cold oven and then bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 hours.
    Cool in pan.
