Indian Wheat-Plantain - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. tender young plantain leaves
1/3 c. boiling water
crisp crumbled bacon
1 tsp. salt or to taste
Preparation

Cook 2 to 3 minutes with cover on.
Plantain leaves can be dipped in milk or canned milk, then in flour and fried over low heat for 30 minutes.
Serve hot or cold like chips.
