Cocoa Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. cocoa
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the sugar, eggs and Crisco.
    Add milk.
    Fill a 1-cup container, putting the cocoa in first, then fill to the top with boiling water.
    Add soda to the water and cocoa; stir.
    It wil foam and run over into the sugar/egg mixture.
    Dump entire contents of cup in and stir.
    Mix in the dry ingredients:
    flour, soda and salt; stir.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake in a greased and floured pan at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
