Sausage-Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk sausage
    1 1/2 c. chopped celery (leaves included)
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 pkg. chicken soup mix
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    3 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. uncooked rice
Preparation
    Brown sausage in skillet.
    Cook celery, onion and green pepper in 2 tablespoons sausage fat.
    Combine soup with boiling water. Combine all ingredients in 2-quart casserole.
    Cover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0
    for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Uncover.
    Bake 15 more minutes.
    Makes 6 large servings.
