Foolproof Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 3/4 c. vegetable shortening
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 large egg
    1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Blend flour, shortening and salt with pastry blender or fork until pieces are the size of peas.
    Mix vinegar, egg and water separately.
    Moisten dry ingredients gradually, mixing lightly. Let dough stand in refrigerator for several minutes, then roll out.
    Unused dough can be frozen.
