Apricot Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. oatmeal
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 c. apricot jam
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix all ingredients, except jam, together.
    Press 2/3 of mixture in an ungreased 8 x 8-inch pan. Cover with apricot jam.
    Cover with remaining mixture.
    Bake for 35 minutes.
