Maple Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. maple flavor
Preparation
    Stir sugar, brown sugar, cream of tartar and water until full boil; turn to low.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Add vanilla and maple flavor.
