Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 tsp. strawberry jello
    1/2 tsp. red food coloring
    4 c. strawberries
Preparation
    Bake pie shell and set aside to cool.
    Mix sugar, water, cornstarch, jello and food coloring.
    Cook until thick and clear, stirring frequently.
    Cool.
    Fold in strawberries; pour in pie crust and chill.
    Serve plain or topped with whipped cream.
