Banana Icebox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oleo
2 eggs
2 c. plain flour
4 Tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
3 mashed bananas
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream oleo and sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat with spoon until fluffy.
Add flour sifted with soda alternately with buttermilk.
Stir in bananas and pecans.
Makes 3 layers; be sure to grease and flour pans before pouring in batter.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
