Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, sliced
    2 eggs (unbeaten)
    1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 c. stewed tomatoes (I drain)
    2 slices bread, broken into pieces
    2 tsp. salt or to taste
    1/4 tsp. pepper or to taste
Preparation
    Mix together and pack into a 9 x 3 x 5-inch pan or form into two loaves.
    Place 4 strips bacon on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Serves 6 to 8.
