Southern Gal Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sifted flour
    8 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs (unbeaten)
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients into bowl.
    Blend in shortening until it looks like corn meal.
    Pour in milk slowly.
    Mix with fork.
    Add eggs.
    Stir to a stiff dough.
    Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutter.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
